In a culture of rigor, relevance, relationships and respect, the Wooster High School community continues to make impressive progress toward its mission of graduating all students on time.- Wooster's graduation rate for the Class of 2010 was 8% higher than the previous year's rate.
- The Colts JROTC Battalion earned the Honor Unit with Distinction Award for the 34th consecutive year during April's CFI.
- A record number of 8th graders have been accepted to the IB program for the 2011-12 school year.
- A record number (730) Advanced Placement exams will be administered during the spring to 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students.
- Through donations, grants, and fundraisers, the Drama program realized its goal of replacing seats in our theater.
- Wooster's Football Stadium Lights project broke ground in April thanks to tremendous community support!
- The Literacy & Numeracy Committee started work during the school year focusing on improving the skills of all students.
- Junior Steven Eliceguiwas the 2011 regional & state champion in wrestling and honored as Sportsman of the Year.
- Wooster's Ski Team was the 2010-11 Nevada Ski Racing Boys State Slalom Champion.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 Increase the proficiency of students in English Language Arts & Math with special attention to low-performing groups.
Objective(s): Increase the number of proficient 11th grade students in both English Language Arts and Math by 10% with special attention to LEP, FRL, IEP and Latino students.
Goal 2 Increase the number of 9th grade students who successfully transition to 10th grade.
Objective(s): Decrease the number of retained 9th grade students by 5%. Increase the 9th grade attendance rate to meet or exceed the district goal of 95%.
Goal 3 Increase the cohort graduation rate.
Objective(s): Increase the cohort graduation rate by 3% from the previous year's rate. Currently 54% of cohort seniors graduated (SY 2009-10).
