Incline MS excelled in many areas during the 2010-11 school year. The focus of all stakeholders was to provide a variety of enrichment opportunities while continuing to improve achievement.- Our bilingual Parent Involvement Facilitator provided multiple social, enrichment, and informational activities for families.
- Three students were honored for outstanding writing in the FRA Americanism essay contest.
- A seventh grade student competed at the state level in the Geography Bee.
- A sixth grade student placed fourth in the WCSD Spelling Bee.
- IMS was the only school in WCSD to have two students win first place at the Regional Invention Fair.
- IMS participated as a first year school in the WCSD Positive Behavior Support program.
- 77% of eighth grade students were proficient on the writing test and no students were in the bottom quartile.
- Over 44% of the students at IMS have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Twenty five staff and students participated in the local Follies to raise money for schools.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 All teachers will use a variety of literacy strategies to improve reading scores by 10% on the state CRT’s.
Objective(s): During the 10-11 school year, CRT results will show 42% of eighth grade students at proficiency, with 32% exceeding the standard; and 80% of sixth grade students meeting or exceeding the standards.
Goal 2 Concentrate on writing strategies with a focus on differentiated instruction writing across the curriculum.
Objective(s): For the 10-11 school year writing scores will show 59% of eighth grade students to be proficient and 15% to be exceeding the standard.
Goal 3 Follow the WCSD Math pacing guides to direct instruction with a focus on ESL, FRL and Special Education students.
Objective(s): For the 10-11 school year, CRT test results will show 64% of eighth grade students scoring at proficiency levels and 10% exceeding the standard, as well as 80% of sixth grade students meeting or exceeding the standards.
