Pine Middle School is proud of its accomplishment and committed to continuous school improvement.- All school Science and Invention Fair with over 500 projects presented and judged by local scientists.
- 12 Science Projects and 5 Inventions were sent to the Western Regional Science Fair.
- Congratulations to Wesley Ott and Victoria Hagan – Regional Science Fair Winners.
- WCSD Bookmark Contest winner – 7th grade art student, Kaitlin Nichols.
- 2 published authors visit Pine and share their writing techniques with students.
- Leadership classes continue to provide students with positive behavior recognition and school spirit assemblies.
- Pine Middle School raises over 1000.00 dollars in one minute to help pay medical bills for a family in need.
- Solar power panels being installed at Pine; this technology will allows students to record electrical measurements.
- ALM students organize and lead a debate between political candidates; Dean Heller and Jill Derby.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1
Increase proficiency in math by moving 7% of all subpopulations not meeting standard to meeting standard on State CRT’s.
Objective(s):
Increase the proficiency in mathematics of students by moving7% of all subpopulations not meeting standard in 7th grade to meeting standard in math by the end of their 8th grade year.
Goal 2
Increase proficiency in reading by moving 7% of all subpopulations that are not meeting standard to meeting standard.
Objective(s):
Increase the proficiency in English/Language Arts of students by moving7% of all subpopulations not meeting standard in 7th grade to meeting standard in reading by the end of their 8th grade year as measured by the State’s CRT’s.
Goal 3
Improve are school culture and climate.
Objective(s):
We will improve school culture and climate as measured by the Educational Effectiveness Survey by 20 percent in the areas of trust, making connections with students and improving student respect toward adults by developing our positive behavior systems.
