Bud Beasley E. S. is committed to the academic and social growth of all our students. We are proud of our accomplishments made during the 2010-2011 school year.- We received Edujobs funding to provide an additional Intervention Teacher for 4th, 5th and 6th grade students.
- Students participated in the Run for Education earning $1,000 to help purchase additional PE equipment.
- PTA continued to fund a PE teacher and an adult crossing guard.
- Our ELL students met and exceeded their Annual Measurable Achievement Objective (AMAO) targets.
- We have successfully completed our first yearas a school-wide model of Positive Behavior Supports.
- The sixth grade classes were able to participate in the four day Great Basin Outdoor School.
- Literacy and Math Night was held where teachers presented effective strategies for parents to use at home with their students.
- Our Annual Sock Hop and Bud Beasley Back-to-School BBQ were huge successes.
- We were able to provide after school tutoring and a Writing Boot Camp for our students.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 Improve student achievement in reading as measured by the 2010-2011 district pathway performance indicator and CRTs.
Objective(s): At least 69% of third graders, 67% of 5th graders, and at least 63.8% of all students, with a focus on our LEP and IEP students, will meet or exceed the target score as measured by the Nevada Reading CRT.
Goal 2 Improve student achievement in math as measured by the 2010-2011 district pathway performance indicator and CRTs.
Objective(s): This year at least 73% of third graders, 85% of fifth graders, and at least 65.9% of all students will meet or exceed the target score as measured by the Nevada Math CRT.
Goal 3 Improve student achievement in writing as measured by the 2010-2011 district pathway performance indicator.
Objective(s): This year at least 59% of fifth graders will meet or exceed the target score as measured by the State Writing Assessment.
