We are very proud of the accomplishments of our students, staff and parents at Lloyd Diedrichsen Elementary School. We are dedicated to helping all students achieve their full academic potential.- Our choir program for students in grades 4-6 gave two outstanding community performances of their holiday music program.
- Every primary teacher received specialized training in literacy instruction.
- Our school was chosen to be 1 of 4 schools in our district to receive funds from the Reading First TAG grant.
- During our first annual “Caps for a Can” hat day we collected over 400 pounds of food.
- We received an $8,000 dollar grant from the Hart Foundation to purchase a new piano, keyboard, and upgrade our instruments.
- We sold over 2,000 tickets during our Pumpkin Festival and had over 250 families attend this annual event.
- We implemented a thirty-minute intervention time for all students in grades 1-6.
- Teachers used progress monitoring and quarterly benchmarks to meet the individualized needs of their students.
