Greenbrae believes in high expectations for all and promotes the vision that all children can and must learn. With a high quality staff, we strive to meet these commitments for all stakeholders.- Grant funding to promote school programs include Title 1, Reading First, Targeted Assistance Grant and 21st CCLC.
- Private grant funding to provide playground enhancements include, S.C. Rotary, Redfield Foundation, and Reno Rodeo.
- Greenbrae is a Reading First Platinum School.
- Home school connections include home visits, book bag program, parents/student literacy program, and 400 minute reader.
- Study skills program includes homework folders, agenda books and a school-wide homework policy.
- Interventions include alternate core programs, direct instruction, differentiated instruction, technology, and tutoring.
- Staff includes literacy coaches, writing coach, math coordinator, parent facilitator, counselor, and teacher assistants.
- Data driven instruction is implemented and supported with DIBELS and AIMS web assessments.
- Greenbrae implements a school-wide discipline plan resulting in a safe school environment.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 Proficiency in reading achievement will increase for all students and all student subpopulations.
Objective(s): The percentage of 3rd and 5th grade students identified as proficient in reading will increase by 5%.
Goal 2 Proficiency in writing achievement will increase for all students and all student subpopulations.
Objective(s): Writing proficiency assessment in grades 1 – 6 will demonstrate increased individual student proficiency by 7%.
Goal 3 Proficiency in math achievement will increase for all students and all student subpopulations.
Objective(s): By the end of the school year, the percentage of students proficient in math will increase by 5%.
