Mount Rose ES continued its strive toward success during the 2010-2011 school year.- Mount Rose was recognized as a Nevada Highlighted School by the State of Nevada.
- Differentiation and Enrichment Support time continue to close the achievement gap.
- Mount Rose Received the Nevada Partners for Inclusive Education Award.
- Parent Faculty Meetings were held monthly and overall involvement of families increased.
- Our Two Way Immersion program continued to expand by adding a 1st grade classroom to our Pre-K and K strand.
- Mount Rose ES held it's first Multi-cultural night, which was a huge success!
- School Wide Positive Behavior Support continues to enhance our focused learning environment.
- Our first Intramural Soccer Season was a success with EL Cord and Nell J Redfield providing grants for our league.
- Our Pre-K program, GATE pull-out program, and Elementary Opportunity School enhance our overall school culture.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 Increase proficiency in Reading as measured by the district pathway performance indicators and the Nevada CRT.
Objective(s): This goal will be measured by the attainment of the proficiency level targets as identified below: This year 64% of our 3rd graders and 70% of 5th graders will meet or exceed the target score as measured by the Nevada Reading CRT.
Goal 2 Increase proficiency in Math as measured by the district pathway performance indicators and the Nevada CRT.
Objective(s): This goal will be measured by the attainment of the proficiency level targets as identified below: This year 66% of 3rd graders and 70% of 5th graders will meet or exceed the target score as measured by the Nevada Math CRT.
Goal 3 Increase the percentage of students achieving proficiency in writing in all grade levels.
Objective(s): 64% or more of 5th graders will be proficient in writing as measured by the Nevada Writing Proficiency Exam.
