The Libby Booth school community is dedicated to helping all students become the best they can be and to meet their greatest potential. We are committed to excellence and high expectations for all.- Five teachers graduated in the Lemelson Masters Program. Three staff members are completing doctoral programs.
- Libby C. Booth has continued to refine and implement Response to Intervention.
- All teachers participate in weekly Professional Learning Community meetings using data to focus on student achievement.
- The school’s Intervention Assistance Team meets weekly to discuss and problem solve for struggling learners.
- The school’s Restructuring Team has worked diligently to create a plan that will support student achievement.
- Mr. Dale O’Brien was recognized by Channel 4 News as March’s Excellence in Education recipient.
- SB 185 funds allowed additional personnel and support for Tier II and Tier III instruction.
- Libby C. Booth has collaborated with community members to create a community garden across the street from our school.
- Libby C. Booth’s 21st Century Program has partnered with the Boys and Girls Club.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 Continue to increase reading and writing proficiency for all students by the end of 2008-2009.
Objective(s): Decrease the number of non-proficient students by 10%, including all subpopulations.
Goal 2 Increase math proficiency for all students by the end of 2008-2009.
Objective(s): Decrease the number of non-proficient students by 10%, including all subpopulations.
Goal 3 Continue to improve staff collaboration, and increase positive school climate.
Objective(s): Decrease the number of issued citations by 20%. Increase the number of parental attendance at school events by 20%.
