Tonopah High School has a a variety of academic programs. Besides a core curriculum, we offer career technical education classes and music and art classes. We were a high achieving school in 2010.- Tonopah High School made AYP in Math, and Reading the 2010 school year.
- Tonopah High School attendance rate was 92 percent the 2010 school year.
- Tonopah High School used Measured Academic Progress for the second year to track student growth in Science, Math, and Rdg
- Many of our graduating seniors areenrolling in post secondary education.
- Tonopah High School uses data from Measured Academic Progress and the High School Proficiency Exam to drive instruction.
- Our sophomore class increased the passing level on the math proficiency by 5 percent from the previous year.
- 40% of our students are on the honor roll at Tonopah High School
- Students have the opportunity for credit recovery through the Odyssey Online Program.
- 83 % of the Junior class passed the writing examination the 2010 school year.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 Arial; 1Students at Tonopah High School will increase achievement on the 2011 Map and the 10th Grades HSPE exam.
Objective(s): On the 9th Grade NWEA testing, students will increase their score by ten points from fall to spring testing. Students will perform at or above the overall mean in the area of measurement on the NWEA during fall and spring testing and increase the overall score on the math HSPE by 5 percent.
Goal 2 Students at Tonopah High School will increase their voc. understanding in all core areas at their appro. grade level.
Objective(s): On the MAP/NWEA testing word analysis scores will show increased growth by 5 percent from fall to spring assessment.On the reading HSPE assessment, 90 percent of the junior class will achieve above the score required to pass.
