Kings River has been an exciting place for education this year, with a new teacher and strong community and parent support. Students are excited to be at school and learning.- A new teacher has engerized the school, by using differentiated learning and providing enthusiasm for the school.
- The addition of the A+ learning system has allowed students to remediate and excel in a variety of subjects.
- Kings River school was asked to present their successful strategies for achivement at the Mega Conference this year.
- 100% parent attendance at all teacher conferences
- Strong parent volunteers help in classrooms and school events.
- Parent volunteers assist in the classrooms on a regular basis.

Goal 1
Increase school-wide reading proficiency with a particular focus on FRL, LEP and Hispanic subpopulations.
Objective(s):
50% of FRL and LEP Hispanic students in grades 2-8 will achieve grade level growth targets as specified by MAPS Reading assessment.
Goal 2
Increase school-wide mathematics proficiency with a particular focus on FRL, LEP and Hispanic subpopulations
Objective(s):
65% of FRL, LEP Hispanic students in grades 3-8 will achieve proficiency on Nevada Math CRT.
Goal 3
Increase school-wide proficiency in Language Arts.
Objective(s):
63% of students in grades 3-8 will achieve proficiency on Nevada State Writing Proficiency Exam.
