Mission Statement
Elko High School promotes a climate of challenging instruction leading to the graduation of students prepared to be productive members of society.
 
Highlights
Graduates: Bronze3.0-3.3 GPA –44; Silver3.4 – 3.6 GPA – 22; Gold 3.7 – 3.9 GPA – 24;Special Recognition /4.0 – Higher GPA – 18
  • Scholarshipsawarded– Millennium - $720,000; all other scholarships - $1,469,000
  • 27 students received Presidential Awards
  • Girls Golf- 2nd in High Desert League and Regionals. 4 Golfers named All League/All Northern Nevada.
  • Girls Golf Coach selected as Coach of the Year and State of Nevada Coach of the Coach-All Star Team.
  • Skills USA – 1 student – Nevada champion in Electronics / Advisor named Advisor of the Year.
  • 60 students selected to NE NV Honor Choir- 16 students selected to NV All-State Choir
  • 2 Silver Key and 2 Gold Key Winners at Scholastic Art Show in Reno.
  • All subjects were taught by highly qualified faculty as identified by NCLB
  • Student Council received National Recognition for their achievements.

Goal 1
All students will increase their Reading proficiency
