The elementary students wrote their own books for the 7th consecutive year.- PTA continued the program of “Take Dad to School Day” in April.
- Elementary Student Council continues to be active in school improvement.
- A community reading night was sponsored by the Elementary Reading PLC.
- Financial and physical support was received from parents involved in PTA.
- Many awards were given at the annual Convocation ceremony at the elementary level.
- The Little Red Caboose Pre-School had a successful first year at Carlin.
- Carlin Elementary continued RTI Reading in grades K, 1, 2. & 3
- PTA continues to sponsor “Student of the Month”.
- Several students were published in the Elko County Writer’s Festival book.

Goal 1
Will increase math knowledge and understanding.
Objective(s):
Students in grades 3-6, including IEP and FRL students, will show an increase in math scores.
Goal 2
Will increase reading skills in literary and information texts.
Objective(s):
Students in grades 3-6, including IEP and FRL students, will show an increase in reading scores
Goal 3
Students will improve writing skills.
Objective(s):
Students in grades 5, including IEP and FRL students, will show an increase in writing scores
