Mound Valleystudents live in a rural area in which they attend school in a one room schoolhouse.- The students also travel toSouthside for extended learning opportunities and author visits.
- Mound Valley is a rural school that supports the educational needs of children from ranches in the area.
- Mound Valley has consistently met Adequate Yearly Progress goals in Math, Reading and Science.
- The students participate in Reading Week and several writing contests each year.
- The current enrollment grades K-5.

Goal 1
Increase the reading proficiency of all students.
Objective(s):
Number of students proficient in reading will increase by 10% as measured by the state CRT.
Goal 2
Increase themath proficiency of all students.

Number of students proficient in math will increase by 10% as measured by the state CRT.
Goal 3
Increase the writing proficiency of all students.
Objective(s):
Writing proficiency will increase with all students enrolled through appropriate and consistent writing practice.
