The emphasis on high academic standards at Arbor View is achieved through advanced technology, strong teacher development, and excellent teacher/student relationships.- The GAP program aids 9th grade drop-out risks. Currently, only 22 9th graders failed more than one class 1st semester.
- Scholarship value increased from $1.4 million to $4.23 million in 2010-2011 through more efficient tracking and application.
- Hispanic proficiency scores improved from 54 to 73% in math and 88 to 93% in English language arts (ELA).
- Proficiency scores increased in every subgroup in both math and ELA on the 2010 NHSPE exams.
- The overall pass rate on all AP exams went up from 52% to 61% with a high of 82% in AP Calculus.
- Arbor View had the highest pass rate on the 2010 2nd semester math exams in Area 1; Algebra II increased from 12% to 65%.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 IEP and Black students will increase test scores on the NHSPE math exam through effective instruction.
Objective(s): The gap on the NHSPE math exam that exists between Black 11th graders and the total population will decrease from 20% to 10% on the NHSPE Exam. The gap on the NHSPE math exam that exists between 11th grade IEP students and the school population will decrease from 39% o 29% on the NHSPE.
Goal 2 By using research, technology, and communication, students will increase their access to scholarship opportunities.
Objective(s): Through current research and best practices, the graduating class of 2011 will increase the value of scholarships from $4.9 million to $9.8 million, and complete 500 college interest forms.
