Mission Statement
Liberty High School, through a classical studies program, will empower learners to reach their academic and physical potential, demonstrate responsibility and respect, and lead lives of scholastic and artistic expression.
 
Highlights
Liberty High School, a classical school, is committed to helping students achieve in academics, athletics, and activities.
  • Liberty High School created the "12-13" program, where students earn both high school and college credit through CSN.
  • Fifty percent of Liberty High School students were enrolled in one or more honors and/or advanced placement courses.
  • Liberty's athletic programs reached milestones, including state runner-up and semi-finalists, and academic/division champio
  • Performing arts groups received superior ratings at regional festivals.
  • Liberty DECA competed at the national level after winning state DECA.
  • Liberty High School developed the Master Lecture Series where prominent members speak about current issues.
  • Liberty was awarded the Nevada College Access Challenge grant, focusing on college and career readiness plans.
  • Liberty High School utilized state funds to both reduce class sizes and provide credit retrieval classes in math and English.
  • Liberty High School's student council was awarded the National Gold Council of Excellence Award and the Silver Star Award.
 
Goals and Objectives
Goal 1
Reading content standards of IEP students will show an increase as measured by the Nevada High School Proficiency Exam.

Objective(s):
Increase English II pass rates by 10% among IEP and LEP students by 1st and 2nd semester as measured by English II Common Assessments.

Goal 2
10th grade mathematics content standards of IEP students will show an increase as measured by the NHSPE.

Objective(s):
Increase Algebra I pass rates by 10% among IEP and Black/African American students by 1st and 2nd semester as measured by Math Common Assessments.
