The Southeast Career Technical Academy will provide career/technical and academic instruction, which imparts technological, interpersonal, and entry-level job skills and enables students to meet the rigors of post-secondary education. |

The students who attend SECTA are dedicated to acquiring a quality education. SECTA continues to have one of the highest graduation rates and lowest dropout and transiency rates in the district.- SECTA provided students with advanced training in 16 career and technical programs.
- Graduates were awarded over 3.2 million dollars in scholarship funds in 2010.
- SECTA students received 21 gold, 15 silver, and 20 bronze medals in the 2010 Skills USA competition.
- Students from Future Business Leaders of America placed first, second, and third in 17 categories at the state conference.
- Twenty-six students from Future Business Leaders of America received Business Achievement Awards at the state conference.
- SECTA gave $7,201.91 in charitable contributions during the 2009-2010 school year.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 Students in the IEP subgroup will meet the target score for mathematics and English language arts proficiency exams.
Objective(s): Students in the IEP subgroup will go from 49.67% proficient to 71.3% proficient in mathematics and from 75.15% proficient to 86.70% proficient in English language arts.
Goal 2 Students in 11th grade will pass the science proficiency exam.
Objective(s): The percent of 11th grade students that pass the science proficiency will increase from 62.16% to 85%.
