The Brian and Teri Cram Middle School Community takes pride in challenging students to achieve success in a safe, supportive environment. The mission of Cram Middle School is to ensure multiple opportunities and experiences for all students to meet the Clark County School District grade level/subject specific standards, curriculum benchmarks and all accountability measures. By addressing individual student needs and promoting social and personal growth, students will have access to a quality educational program that stresses high achievement and is filled with opportunities for all students. Our goal will be to close the achievement gap that exists among student groups and learn through a climate of mutual respect, positive collaboration and an atmosphere of continuous progress. |

Cram Middle School continues to excel and show academic growth in all subject areas year after year. We are proud to maintain a high standard of excellence as evidenced by the following achievements:- Maintained a 100% teacher retention rate, with the vast majority of the staff having worked at Cram for more than five years;
- Achieved Adequate Yearly Progress status in English language arts with over 70% of the school achieving proficiency;
- Met all district Math Smart Goals, and Algebra I Honors classes continued to achieve a 98.8% pass rate on semester exams;
- Conducted the second annual Science Fair with 25 awardees participating in the UNLV Science & Engineering Fair;
- Developed a Sixth Grade Academy for non-proficient students to participate in additional math and English instruction;
- Continued the Mock Writing Proficiency Program in all grades to develop students' writing skills and proficiency;
- Expanded the co-teaching model for inclusive instruction practices, providing support and access for all students;
- Established Positive Behavior and Academic Support Programs that provide incentives, awards and recognition for students;
- Conducted a six-week CRT tutoring program in English language arts and math for students approaching standards.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 Implement an intensive Tier 1 literacy and math instructional academy foe 120 non-proficient sixth grade students.
Objective(s): By the end of the 2010-2011 school year, AYP data will demonstrate at least a 10% reduction the percentage of non-proficient students in English language arts and mathematics.
Goal 2 Increase the effectiveness of Tier 1 instruction for LEP students.
Objective(s): By the end of the 2010-2011 school year, AYP data will demonstrate at least a 10% reduction in the percentage of non-proficient LEP students in English language arts and mathematics.
