Fremont Professional Development Middle School is proud to highlight the following achievements:- As indicated by the 2009-2010 CRTs, students made Adequate Yearly Progress (Safe Harbor) in English Language Arts (ELA).
- As indicated by the 2009-2010 CRTs, Fremont students showed the most growth in Area 3 in three ELA subgroups (IEP, LEP, FRL).
- As indicated by the '09-'10 CRT, the number of non-proficient African American students in ELA/math were reduced by 30%/23%.
- As indicated by the Algebra I first semester common assessment, students had the highest growth rate (43%) in CCSD.
- We are the first & only Professional Development Middle School in the Clark County School District in partnership with UNLV.
- Aimsweb progress monitoring (3rd year) facilitated Tier I, II and III data-driven instruction.
- Fremont faculty presented at the national Professional Development Schools Conference spring of 2011.
- Nationally recognized Fremont Family Writing Project was facilitated by teacher and published author Arthur Kelly.
- The partnership with the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino generated over $10,000 in contributions to Fremont students.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 Teachers will analyze and use data to inform and modify instruction to identify and progress monitor students in need.
Objective(s): By the end of the school year, all teachers will be using CRT, P-Values, interim assessments, common assessments, Aimsweb and class grades data to inform and modify instructional strategies to meet student needs while using the school-wide system to progress monitor general education students.
Goal 2 All teachers will participate in differentiated professional development based on individual instructional needs.
Objective(s): By the end of the 2010-2011 school year, all (100%) teachers will participate in systematic individualized professional development research and implement the skills learned in their classrooms or present it to faculty.
