We engage, encourage, and empower all students to succeed!- As one of CCSD's Empowerment Schools, empowerment provides the school withnomy over governance, staffing, and budget.
- The "Jiji" ST Math Program provides additional instruction in math, enriching students' conceptual understanding of concepts.
- The "Brain Lab" Fast ForWord program provides extra instruction in cognitive skills that are critical for reading success.
- CHAMPS-A Positive and Proactive Approach to classroom management increases positive interactions between students and staff.
- Standard Student Attire values and unifies our diverse student population.
- Community partnerships and grant opportunities provide over $200,000 worth of donations for various school initiatives.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 All students will increase achievement in reading as measured by the 2011 Nevada Criterion Referenced Test (CRT).
Objective(s): By the end of the 2011-2012 school year, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will increase overall student achievement on the CRT by 10% in reading/language arts.
Goal 2 All students will increase achievement in writing as measured by the 2011 Nevada Writing Proficiency Examination (NWPE).
Objective(s): By the end of the 2011-2012 school year, 5th grade will increase overall student achievement on the NWPE by 10% in writing.
Goal 3 All students will increase achievement in mathematics as measured by the 2011 Nevada Criterion Referenced Test (CRT).
Objective(s): By the end of the 2011-2012 school year, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will increase overall student achievement on the CRT by 10% in mathematics.
