Explicit, standards-based instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics supported student learning, with positive teacher-student relationships to meet the needs of the Lois Craig community.- Title I pre-kindergarten and full-day kindergarten were held for early childhood education and literacy experiences.
- Learning strategists worked with struggling students to increase student achievement and teach pro-social behavior.
- After-school tutoring and Saturday Academies were offered to assist with achievement in reading, writing, and mathematics.
- LEO Club academic and enrichment activities enhanced student achievement and learning, supported by the 21st Century grant.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1
Increase the effectiveness of Tier I English language arts (ELA) instruction.
Objective(s):
Data will demonstrate at least a 10% reduction in the percent of non-proficient students in English language arts in grades 3, 4, and 5; ELA data will demonstrate at least a 10% reduction in the percent of "at-risk" students on the DIBELS Benchmark III, grades K, 1, and 2.
Goal 2
Increase the effectiveness of Tier I mathematics instruction.
Objective(s):
Data will demonstrate at least a 10% reduction in the percent of non-proficient students in mathematics; interim assessment (survey) data will demonstrate a 10% reduction in students scoring between 0% - 33% correct responses in grades K through five.
