Neil C Twitchell ES would like to highlight the following:- Study Island was successfully implemented and utilized.
- The math intervention Voyager V-Math was successfully implemented for struggling math students in grades 3-5.
- The Great American Challenge was implemented in 3rd & 5th grades to motivate students to learn important American documents.
- The Great Nevada Challenge was implemented in 4th grade to motivate students to learn important Nevada documents.
- Our school celebrated our annual Fine Arts and Academic Festival.
- The after-school literacy program taught by Twitchell teachers assisted struggling readers in second grade.
- The reading intervention Voyager Passport was successfully implemented for struggling readers in grades 3-5.
- The CRT (before and after school) Camps provided test prep for students in grades 3-5.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 Percentage of grades 3-5 scoring proficient and higher in ELA will increase from 88.99%-91.4% as measured by DIBELS/RTI.
Objective(s): On the 2011 CRT, student performance will increase in all subgroups as measured by P-Values in drawing conclusions about text and support them with textual evidence & experience (levels A2 & A3): grades 3-5 will demonstrate additional increases: 3rd from .64-.75; 4th from .49-.75; 5th from .63-.75.
Goal 2 Percentage of grades 3-5 scoring proficient and higher in math will increase from 92.24%-94.24% measured by DIBELS/RTI.
Objective(s): On the 2011 CRT, student performance (level A3) will increase across all subgroups in Tell Time-Nearest Minute, Using Analog/Digital Clocks from 71%- 75% in 3rd grade; from 68%-75% in 4th grade; and Equivalent Time-Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Days, Months and Years from 57%-75% in 5th grade.
