Mission Statement
We are all here to work with others and learn the skills needed to grow academically, socially, and physically. All Means All!

Highlights
Bunker embraces inclusive practices with our "All Means All" philosophy. We would like to celebrate the progress we have made in our efforts to increase student achievement and parental involvement:
  • Empowered teachers with site-based and data-driven decision making within the framework of a Professional Learning Community;
  • School-wide implementation of Investigations, Readers/Writers workshop, and Guided Reading for consistent core instruction;
  • Embraced the Response to Intervention model to support struggling learners with Aimsweb, IDMS, and INFORM as data sources;
  • Cultured 'Best Buddies' and 'Be Kind' programs to further the school's mission and create a positive learning environment;
  • Increased parental involvement with Math Olympics, Spelling Bee, parent workshops, academic nights, & author's celebrations;
  • Increased professional development for licensed and support staff in all areas pertaining to our school improvement plan;
  • Conducted focused lesson studies to allow teachers to plan lessons together and observe peers to increase student engagement;
  • Celebrated student achievement with trimester awards assemblies, Super Heroes, Wall of Fame, and morning opening ceremonies;
  • Empowered students with leadership roles, peer mediation, ambassadors, and jobs to generate ownership in the school.
