Leading the Pack in Education- 3rd through 5th grade students demonstrated an increase in math proficiency on the Nevada Criterion Referenced Test.
- After-school tutoring was offered to assist with reading, writing, and mathematics.
- Structured teacher planning time was utilized to analyze assessment data and adjust student groupings and instruction.
- A Learning Strategist was utilized to assist students struggling in the areas of reading and writing.
- 66% of students that participated in tutoring for writing increased their writing proficiency on school-based assessments.
- Focused grade-level instruction was used to ensure all students had access to grade level curriculum and standards.
- Our honor choir participated in the Magical Forest caroling activities.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 Students in K-5 will increase achievement in the area of ELA specifically in skills, concepts, and strategic thinking.
Objective(s): Student performance on the Nevada Criterion Referenced Test for reading will reflect an annual 10% reduction of non-proficient students in grades 3, 4, and 5 and annual 10% reduction of students scoring 68% and below on the end of the year interim survey assessment in grades K-2.
Goal 2 Students in K-5 will increase achievement in the area of ELA, specifically in skills, concepts, and strategic thinking.
Objective(s): 5th grade student performance on the Nevada Writing Proficiency Exam will reflect an annual 10% reduction of non proficient students. Based on the Department of Education writing rubric, 40% of K-4th grade students will meet or exceed standards on the third trimester school-wide writing assessment.
Goal 3 Students in K-5 will increase achievement in the area of math, specifically in skills, concepts, and strategic thinking.
Objective(s): Student performance on the Nevada Criterion Referenced Test for math will reflect an annual 10% reduction of non proficient students in grades 3, 4, and 5, specifically in the areas of procedural knowledge and problem solving.
