Richard H. Bryan Elementary is proud to highlight the following achievements:- Full-day, tuition-based kindergarten was offered.
- Monthly student citizenship breakfasts were held.
- Fourth and fifth grade students were given the opportunity to participate in Battle of the Books team competition.
- Monthly teacher and student mentor breakfasts were held.
- Students activities included Drama Kids, DARE, Student Council, Sea Camp, Astro Camp, choir, instrument ensemble, and Orff.
- Area 4 funds provided after-school reading intervention to students struggling in reading.
- Researched-based reading intervention programs, Voyager Passport, and Fast Forword were implemented.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 All students in grades 3-5 will increase achievement in mathematics as measured by the Criterion Referenced Tests.
Objective(s): Specific improvements will be made in grades 3-5 by students in the IEP subgroup with expected increases in proficiency gains from 29% to 32% as measured by the 2010-2011 math CRTs and overall subgroup achievement reaching proficiency by 2013.
Goal 2 All 3-5 students will increase achievement in ELA as measured by the CRTs and 5th grade Writing Proficiency Exam (NWPE).
Objective(s): Specific improvements will be made in grade 3-5 by students in the IEP subgroup with expected increases in proficiency gains from 34%-38% in reading as measured by the 2010-2011 CRTs. IEP students in grade 5 will also make proficiency gains on the NWPE from 26.7% to 37.7%.
