Rundle students will read with fluency and comprehension, write to communicate, and problem solve to demonstrate mastery of standards and skills that will be carried with them throughout life. Staff will support these experiences by differentiating instruction, using actively engaging lessons, providing real life experiences, and promoting family involvement. Students will be empowered to reach their full academic and social potential to become compassionate, respectful, and responsible citizens. |

Rundle Elementary School provides children with a quality education utilizing technology, differentiated instruction, and grade-level collaboration.- Structured Teacher Planning Time was utilized to analyze data and adjust instruction to fit individual student needs.
- Student engagement and enhanced instruction was promoted through the use of SmartBoards and ELMOs in all K-5 classrooms.
- 100% of teachers were trained in and implemented "The Daily 5", which fosters literacy independence.
- A 40-minute intervention block allowed for additional instruction to target specific learning goals.
- A half day inclusion preschool program was available for 36 students.
- A school-wide talent show, an art show, Student of the Month lunches, and Honor Roll assemblies showcased student talents.
- Math and literacy nights provided parents with valuable tools to help students at home.
- Staff administered and analyzed CCSD interim assessments and DRA results to monitor student mastery of skills and standards.
- The Family Resource Center provided parents with classes, educational materials, and assistance with food/clothing.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 Teachers will utilize strategies to improve instruction, increase student engagement and achievement.
Objective(s): As measured by the CRT's and Writing Proficiency Exam, all subgroups will achieve AYP or Safe Harbor in ELA and math for the 2010-2011 school year. As measured by classroom observation data, teachers will utilize the targeted programs and strategies in their classrooms 90% of the time by June 2011
