Mission Statement
Our mission is to help parents and guardians fulfill their responsibility to educate their children.  Imagine 100 Academy of Excellence's goal is to provide each of our students with a challenging, effective program of study and strong moral development in a safe, nurturing learning environment.
 
Highlights
This has been an outstanding year for the 100 Academy of Excellence. We have a new staff of exceptional educators with over 75% being highly qualified. Our students are beginning to excel.
  • One of our teachers was admitted to the Supreme Court Summer Teacher Institute in Washington, DC.
  • For the first time in our five years of existence, we received Title I funds which allowed us to implement systemic changes.
  • The United Way of Las Vegas, on two occasions, provided volunteers to improve the interior and exterior of our campus.

  • Students began to model our six measures of excellence including academic achievement and adhering to shared values.
  • KaBOOM and Surgical Cares Affiliates joined with us to build a new playground for our school.
  • Our parents formed a highly effective PTO that raised funds and held activities throughout the school year for our families.
  • Junior Achievement provided "Teachers for a Day" in all our classrooms, which provided a wealth of information for students.
  • Our fifth grade class won second place in the Annual Jeopardy Bowl Competition held at the West Las Vegas Library.
 
Goals and Objectives
Goal 1
To continue to improve academic performance in English language arts/literacy

Objective(s):
All students scoring at the lowest percentile will increase their reading proficiency by 10 percentage points.

Goal 2
To continue to improve student academic performance in mathematics

Objective(s):
All students enrolled and scoring at the lowest percentile will increase proficiency in mathematics by 10 percentage points.
