Mission Statement
We are dedicated to establishing life-long learners, who give their best effort, show respect for themselves and others and constantly strive for improvement.
We are working to accomplish our mission by doing the following:
• Strategically placing students in classes based on their needs. • Analyzing student CRT & MAP assessment data and targeting students that may need remediation in core areas. • Student recognition for honor roll, good citizenship & excellent attendance. • Student opportunities: Sports, Peer Mediation, Student Council, Lunchtime Clubs, Academic Olympics, etc. • Weekly meetings & collaboration for teachers.

Goal 1
PD for teachers in curriculum level., effective instruct. practices & use of assess. data to improve stud. achieve.

Objective(s):
All teachers will provide course description and/or curriculum guide and attend professional development provided by administration. All 7th & 8th grade subgroups (Ethnic, IEP, LEP, FRL) will make adequate growth toward AYP proficiency. **MAP, WRITING, AYP DATA**

Goal 2
Increase family& community involvement to build better communication & relationships between families& school.

Objective(s):
CCJHS will provide quarterly opportunities for family and community involvement.

Goal 3
Strengthen efforts for a Safe and Secure School.

CCJHS will provide staff and students with safety education opportunities.
