NSHS is a charter school with a dual-credit curriculum where high school students go to real college classes with real college professors in a real college environment. The school integrates a dual-credit college curriculum for students to concurrently earn high school credit for their college coursework. All students will take a rigorous college curriculum with 80 – 100% of the students’ classes at local colleges. NSHS provides assistance to students as they transition to college with the Introduction to College Course, Study Skill Course, and College Transition Course. Students get remedial and proficiency assistance to earn their high school diploma and customize their own education for a four-year college degree.
